EACS is a companion system to the campus Enterprise Directory. The Enterprise Directory authenticates users via UCR NetID and password, while EACS determines whether or not individual users have the authority to access particular systems and applications. EACS does not currently support all campus administrative applications, but the number of supported systems is growing. iViews will be updated regularly in the months ahead as new systems are added to EACS. As of January 2005, EACS has been in production for sometime and SAAs have been created for all campus organizations. Please click here for a complete list of campus SAAs. When fully deployed, EACS will be used (in a virtually paperless environment) to grant authority to systems ranging from Purchasing to the web version of the campus financial system.
