UCR NetID

What is a UCR NetID?
The UCR NetID is your key to accessing UCR's resources. All of the online services that C&C offers to students requires the student to authenticate with the UCR NetID and password. If you are having trouble logging into any services, below is a list of resources for managing your UCR NetID.
Managing your UCR NetID
Looking up your UCR Net ID and email address
In order to lookup your UCR Net ID and email address you will need your Student ID Number (SID) and PermPIN. If you do not know your PermPIN you should go to the Registrar's Office with a picture ID and they will give it to you. Incoming UCR students may lookup their Student ID Number, PermPIN and UCR Net ID through My UCR. Your UCR Net ID will allow you access to the SCS computer labs, email, VPN, the wireless network, and your iLearn account.
Online Net ID and email address lookup
All UCR students are strongly encouraged to change their password, once they receive their accounts, and periodically thereafter. In order to change your password you will need your UCR Net ID, your current password, and the new password that you have chosen. Your email account, iLearn account, wireless account, VPN account and SCS computer lab account all use the same password. Therefore, when you change your password here it will change for all of these accounts.
Resetting your password if you have forgotten your password
If you do not know your password, or your password doesn't work, you can reset your password to the password of your choice. In order to reset your password you will need your last name, Student ID Number (SID), PermPIN, and birthdate as they are shown on your Registration Form. If you do not have your Registration Form you can obtain it from the Registrar's Office or your Advising Dept. Your email account, iLearn account, wireless account, VPN account and SCS computer lab account all use the same password. Therefore, when you reset your password it will reset for all of these accounts.
